Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 21, 2026

Trades Media Marketing Co. (“Trades Media Marketing Co.,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) builds TMOS, a software platform for trades marketing. This policy explains what information we collect through tradesmediamarketingco.com and TMOS, why we collect it, and how it's handled. It does not cover Lowcountry Construction Media, a separate company with its own website and its own privacy practices.

Information we collect

We collect information in a few specific ways:

  • Contact form submissions. If you submit the contact form on this site, we collect your name, email, phone number, company name, industry, and any message you include. We also log the IP address the submission came from, used only for spam and abuse prevention.
  • Scheduling. If you book a call through our Cal.com scheduling embed, Cal.com collects the information needed to schedule and confirm that meeting, subject to Cal.com's own privacy policy.
  • Platform accounts. If you're issued a TMOS login (agency or client staff), we collect your email address and authentication data through Supabase, and associate your account with an organization and role inside TMOS.
  • Usage analytics. We use PostHog to understand how visitors use this site — pages viewed, general device/browser information, and on-site actions like clicking a call-to-action. This is aggregate product analytics, not used to build advertising profiles about you.

How we use this information

  • To respond to inquiries submitted through the contact form.
  • To send transactional email — confirming a submission, a scheduled call, or account activity for TMOS users — via Resend.
  • To operate and secure TMOS accounts for agency and client users.
  • To understand and improve how this site and TMOS work.
  • To detect and prevent spam, abuse, and fraudulent submissions.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it to build advertising profiles for third parties.

Who we share information with

We share information only with the service providers that help us run this site and TMOS, each acting under their own privacy and security obligations:

  • Supabase — database, authentication, and storage for TMOS.
  • Resend — delivery of transactional email.
  • PostHog — product and usage analytics.
  • Cal.com — scheduling, if you book a call.
  • Dropbox — storage for media assets used inside TMOS's Content Library.
  • Meta — if you interact with ad campaigns TMOS reports on, subject to Meta's own data practices.

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Trades Media Marketing Co., our users, or others.

Cookies and similar technology

This site uses cookies and local storage set by PostHog (analytics) and Cal.com (scheduling, if used). These help the site function and help us understand aggregate usage — they are not used for third-party advertising.

Data retention

We retain contact form submissions and account data for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described above, or as required by law. You can request deletion at any time using the contact information below.

Your choices

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by contacting us at hello@tradesmediamarketingco.com. If you have a TMOS account, agency staff can also update or remove your account information directly.

Data deletion requests

You can request deletion of the personal information we hold about you at any time — including any data associated with ad campaigns or Meta (Facebook/Instagram) accounts that TMOS reports on. To request deletion, email hello@tradesmediamarketingco.com from the email address on file, with the subject line “Data deletion request.” We will confirm receipt and delete the associated personal data within 30 days, except where we're required to retain it by law. If you have a TMOS account, agency staff can also remove your account and its data directly.

Security

We use industry-standard safeguards — including Postgres row-level security for tenant isolation inside TMOS, and encrypted connections everywhere data is transmitted — to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.

Children's privacy

This site and TMOS are intended for business use and are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site and TMOS evolve. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “last updated” date above.
